Reader, I stumbled upon a delightful quote last week: What you create, others can destroy. Create anyway. Because in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and anyone else anyway. They're the final lines of a prayer, written by a mother for her son. (You can find them in Beartown, a novel by Fredrick Backman.) As 2024 draws to a close, and as I take a holiday hiatus from this newsletter, I offer these lines to you, along with two questions:
